This is one of the USM invention in year 2007.This project is about the conversion of waste broken marble to useful mineral filler.
The main mineral filler produce from the broken marble is calcium carbonate filler which is wide use in many industry,such as industry of paper,paint,plastic,agriculture and construction.

Assignment 1A: My Virtual Home

Subject:What I Heard

This is the first assignment for me in School of Hbp. We are asked to create a blog and write out what we had heard from 0900 to 1100 on 12 July 2010 in our first class of RUS101-Integrated Studio.

Mr. Wan Burhanuddin Wan Abidin is the coordinator for the studio.He is also the one who lecture in our first class.
Here are what i heard from him.

APEX(Accelerated Program for Excellence)

APEX is a program that make sure USM can achieve a higher status that is to become 1 of the top university in the world in year 2013. In order to achieve the target, we must accelerate or to be fast to improve ourselves. Even if you are a turtle, make sure that you find a way to make yourself to move fast because we need to be quick under APEX. We need to transform for a sustainable tomorrow.Besides,to be good, better or best is not enough for us. What we need is to become EXCELLENCE.

Production

There are 6 elements in the Production that is intention, act, product, actor, rule and place. Firstly, intention must be comes before act because intention is the source of all action. Intention is comes from an actor who will act according to the intention to produce a product. Every act must has it own rule and product must be in a place.The place can be somewhere around the world or just in our mind.

3P

The 3P principle is build by 3 elements which is people, principle and place. 3P principle can be use to describe or identify activities.

For example,The World Cup must be play by the world-class player,which follow the FIFA principle and held in a suitable place.If we change 1 of the element,then World Cup will not exist and it cannot be World Cup anymore.

Hear & Listen

There are difference between hear and listen which listen meant we think about what we had heard. Hence, when we hear does not meant that we listen.
